YOUNGDUB is the artist, designer, creator, and mind behind YOUNGDUBSTUDiOS.

Raised between Lansing and Ithaca, New York, his work is rooted in grit, music, emotion, community, and an unfiltered creative vision. He takes ideas, energy, pain, chaos, memory, and imagination and transforms them into something people can actually see, hear, feel, and remember.

Whether he is creating cover art, custom graphics, branding, merchandise, video, music, or digital content, YOUNGDUB has never been interested in making something simply because it looks good.

The goal is to make something that hits.

Something with personality. Something with weight behind it. Something that could only have come from YOUNGDUBSTUDiOS.

YOUNGDUBSTUDiOS did not begin with a business plan, investors, or a polished brand strategy.

It began with the need to create.

Long before there was a studio name, website, logo, or business attached to his work, art had already become part of YOUNGDUB's identity.

Growing up, his family had a tradition. Each week, every member of the family would choose an activity for one night together.

YOUNGDUB's choice was always art.

Again and again, he chose to create.

Those family art nights may have seemed simple at the time, but they planted the foundation for something much bigger. Creating became the most natural way for him to take something that existed only in his head and make it real.

That instinct never went away.

As he grew older, creativity became more than a childhood interest. It became an outlet. A way to process life. A place where emotion did not need to be cleaned up, explained, or hidden.

Art allowed him to turn what he was experiencing into something tangible.

BUILT FROM REAL LIFE

YOUNGDUB's journey has been anything but ordinary, and YOUNGDUBSTUDiOS was shaped by that reality.

When his father became seriously ill, the rhythm of life changed. There was uncertainty, fear, silence, waiting, and more time to think than he knew what to do with.

During that period, he got a computer and started creating.

From the outside, it may have looked like nothing more than someone spending time behind a screen. In reality, that computer became something much more important.

It became an outlet.

A distraction when one was desperately needed.

A place to experiment.

A way to turn thoughts and emotions into something visible.

And eventually, it became the foundation of YOUNGDUBSTUDiOS.

The studio was not born because somebody decided it was time to "start a brand."

It grew naturally from countless hours of creating, experimenting, learning, failing, improving, making music, developing visuals, and discovering just how much could be built from an idea and a willingness to figure things out.

THE WORK ETHIC BEHIND THE ART

Creativity may have shaped the studio, but work ethic helped build it.

YOUNGDUB grew up watching two parents demonstrate what commitment actually looks like.

His mother dedicated 44 years to Cornell University, while his father spent 38 years working as a nurse.

That example mattered.

It taught him that showing up counts. Consistency counts. Loyalty counts. Putting years into something matters.

YOUNGDUB ultimately followed a very different path, but those same principles became part of the foundation beneath his creative work.

His canvas just looks different.

TURNING CHAOS INTO SOMETHING REAL

Over time, art stopped being something YOUNGDUB simply enjoyed doing.

It became part of how he survived difficult chapters of life.

Creativity gave him somewhere to be completely honest. It became a way to process pain, pressure, memories, loss, regret, identity, and chaos without asking permission from anybody.

That history is part of why his work is deliberately personal.

YOUNGDUB does not believe the best art always comes from perfect circumstances. Sometimes it comes from pressure. Sometimes from grief. Sometimes from frustration, obsession, loyalty, hunger, or the need to make sense of something that cannot easily be explained.

Instead of hiding those things, YOUNGDUBSTUDiOS turns them into fuel.

That philosophy can be seen throughout the work.

Bold.

Gritty.

Detailed.

Personal.

Unpolished when being polished would destroy the point.

The objective is not to blend in. It is to create visuals and sounds that feel alive — work that burns itself into someone's memory and communicates something before a paragraph ever has to explain it.

Under the name YOUNGDUB, that mentality expanded beyond visual art. Music, graphic design, branding, merchandise, video, storytelling, and digital creation all became different pieces of the same creative identity.

Today, YOUNGDUBSTUDiOS is more than the personal creative outlet it started as.

It has also become a way for YOUNGDUB to use his abilities to help other people bring their own ideas to life.

That includes working with musicians, businesses, local organizations, recreation initiatives, and community projects throughout the Ithaca-area community.

Whether the project calls for professional branding, promotional materials, merchandise, music visuals, digital content, or a gritty urban edge that traditional design sometimes lacks, the mission remains the same:

His life did not follow a straight line, and neither did his artistry.

It comes from somebody who understands that beauty and damage can exist in the same frame. That difficult experiences can produce vision. That chaos can become style. That something powerful can be created from circumstances that originally felt like they had nothing positive to offer.
