PERSONALIZED AI · FAMILY STORIES · A FIRST PILOT
Before We Wish
We’d Asked.
A little more help with the day.
A little more room for the stories.
I’m Adam. An afternoon with my grandma got me thinking about what we miss when we’re always on our way somewhere. Now I’m exploring how existing AI technology could be configured around one person’s life, with that person involved in every decision.
My grandma is the inspiration and the first person I’m beginning with. This is an early pilot, not a finished or validated system.
Explore a setup for someone you love →A morning brief.
The day and date. The weather and whether to bring a sweater. Appointments, family visits, birthdays and useful reminders, drawn from information the person and family choose to share.
A setup would need reliable sources and a clear way for family to check and update them. An AI answer is not a guarantee that a reminder is correct.
Conversation that feels personal.
Favorite songs. People who matter. Places they remember. With permission, a setup could use chosen background information so conversations can return to familiar subjects.
This is additional conversation for the times family cannot be there. It does not replace family, caregivers, friendship or human attention.
Stories worth keeping.
Family history, jokes, opinions, favorite things and the little details nobody thought to ask about. With the person’s knowledge and permission, those stories could become an organized family archive.
Recording a voice requires separate, explicit permission. Saving a story does not mean agreeing to publish it or clone a voice.
WHAT I CAN HELP WITH NOW
Start with a conversation, not a product pitch.
YOUNGDUBSTUDiOS can help you explore existing AI tools, decide what would actually be useful, and plan a personalized setup around your family member’s preferences. We would agree on the tools, scope, privacy choices and costs before beginning any setup.
There is no proprietary healthcare product here and no promise of medical benefit. This is not treatment, diagnosis, emergency monitoring or a replacement for professional care.
BEGINNING WITH GRANDMA
What the first pilot needs to teach us.
- Does she want it, and can she comfortably start and stop it?
- Which reminders are useful, and who keeps them current?
- Which conversation topics does she enjoy or want left alone?
- What does she want saved, who may see it, and how can she delete it?
- What happens when a tool is wrong, unavailable or confusing?
The daily brief, ongoing conversation and archive are proposed functions. Their usefulness, reliability and ease of use still need to be tested with her. Nothing is recorded or shared simply because it is technically possible.
Her choice. Her stories.
Before entering personal details into a service, agree on what will be shared and with which provider. Keep recording off unless she explicitly agrees. Decide who can access the archive, how long to keep it, and how to export or delete it. Public use and voice cloning require separate permission.
